Job Description TITLE: HEAD COOK QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Must pass a physical examination prior to starting work. 2. Must be able to perform hard physical work. 3. Will be expected to maintain a friendly and courteous relationship with students, faculty, other staff members, the public and members of the hot lunch staff. 4. Must be able to learn multiple jobs and perform said jobs independently after a 60-day period, including Meal Magic. 5. Must attend a food-handler's class and maintain a current food-handler's card. 6. Must be willing to work additional hours when needed. REPORTS TO: Food Service Director PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Production of all foods. 2. Follow standard kitchen recipes including determining quantities needed and getting all foods ready for production. 3. Proper storage of any leftover foods. 4.
