Job Description NATURE OF WORK An employee in this class performs technical-clerical work preparing and maintaining a computer database containing student attendance, demographic statistics, and other student specific information in an assigned school. Work involves utilizing specialized computer applications, file maintenance, word processing and spreadsheet programs and the Infinite Campus or another student information system to maintain records of student attendance, class schedules, grades, demographic statistics, immunizations, etc. and prepare associated reports. Employee is responsible for reviewing forms and handwritten information, and entering data into computer files, often utilizing coding; utilizing scanner devices; updating files on a daily basis; printing reports; and performing student searches.
