Job Description Position Reports To: Cafeteria Manager Position Requirements: 2 previous years of kitchen experience preferred Completed and clear background/DCCS check (upon hire) Terms of Employment: Employed 180 days per school calendar year Evaluation: Evaluated by Cafeteria Manager Performance Responsibilities: This is a part time position ranging from 3 to 5.75 hours per day. Receive day-to-day direction from the cafeteria manager. Food Preparation: Organize work time to review and use menus, recipes, production specifications and program standards to prepare and cook menu meals to targeted standards, particularly those related to food quality/safety. Follow production planners for required food preparation and service; follow recipes and directions for equipment use. Food Service, Cleaning, and Maintenance: Assist in cleaning food preparation and cooking surfaces, utensils, pots, pans, trays, etc....
