Job Description Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent. Experience working with children or youth in an educational or outdoor setting. Valid Adult and Child First Aid/CPR/AED certificate issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience, and/or certifications may be considered. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Science, Environmental Studies, or a closely related field. Experience in environmental education, field instruction, or naturalist work. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Knowledge of local ecosystems, environmental issues, or outdoor education strategies. Knowledge of HIPAA, Public Records, Sunshine Law, FERPA, and other laws/regulations related to student and employee privacy, public information, and records retention.
