Job Description The Health Education Teacher will be responsible for teaching the fundamental principles of health education, based on the state standards. Demonstrate a love of health topics and the value of health education to students' lives. This position is a Native Literacy teaching position, meaning candidates must be bilingual and bi-literate in [Haitian Creole] and hold licensure in the appropriate content area. In this program model, students are all newcomer English Learners who are ages 9 or older, have ELD levels 1 or 2, are at least two years behind their grade level peers in native language literacy, and have limited or interrupted formal schooling.
