Job Description PRIMARY FUNCTION : Under the general supervision of a law enforcement officer, performs work of assisting school children and other pedestrian traffic with safe crossing public streets at designated intersections going to and returning from school. REPORTS TO : Campus Police Corporal, School Crossing Guard Supervisor SALARY SCHEDULE : Grade 101 WORK DAYS :190 REQUIREMENTS: Education Level:A GED or a standard high school diploma from a GaDOE-approved and accredited institution is required. Experience, Skill, and Certification: Incumbents are expected to maintain an alert attitude to prevent hazardous traffic situations. Sufficient strength, vision, hearing, stamina and agility to perform all duties on a regular basis without assistance, including the presence of inclement weather.
