Job Description Dorchester County Public Schools is currently accepting applications for the position of Tradesman II/Licensed General Maintenance Technician Pool . We are looking for a proven leader, motivator, and self-starter who requires demonstrated skills in multiple specialties; including and not limited to; carpentry; electrical; plumbing; or HVAC services. The general maintenance technician performs whatever duties that is necessary to maintain a safe and healthy learning environment for students and staff. The successful candidate must have a successful record of general knowledge of repairs in commercial plumbing, carpentry, electrical and HVAC preventive maintenance. The candidate must also be licensed in one of the four trades. Computer literacy/fluency is a requirement. This position is considered essential.
