Job Description Position Summary Stephens County Schools is seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Literacy Coaches to support elementary literacy instruction. The Literacy Coaches will work directly with teachers and students to improve reading outcomes through evidence-based practices aligned to the science of reading. These positions are designed to build teacher capacity, strengthen classroom instruction, and increase student achievement in literacy. The Literacy Coaches will serve as a non-evaluative instructional leader who provides job-embedded professional learning, models effective teaching strategies, and uses data to drive instructional decisions.
