Job Description TITLE: Special Education Ed Tech III, Beach Program (ASD) Multiple Openings at Presumpscot Elementary POSITION OVERVIEW: Portland Public Schools seeks multiple dedicated Special Education Ed Tech III's / Behavioral Health Professionals to support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and/or other neurodevelopmental disabilities as part of the Beach Program at Presumpscot Elementary School. With the supervision of the Director of Specialized Programs and School Principal, the Ed Tech / BHP assists the Special Education Teacher by performing a variety of tasks that promote student learning, positive behavioral interventions and safety. Responsibilities involve working with students with behavioral and neurodevelopmental disabilities, individually and in small groups to assess performance, reinforcing instruction, motivating learning, assisting with classroom management, data tracking, Mainecare billing documentation, and non-instructional duties....
