Job Description Title Code: Temp: Social Worker JOB SUMMARY Provides services to those students in-class or virtual programs in need of intensive counseling/social work services as identified by the school team and their families. Provide intensive therapeutic and family intervention services to the identified school population. Works with school personnel to reduce barriers to learning. Provides resources to assist students as needed, in traditional schools and/or virtual environment. Virtual experience may be required based on assignment. Bilingual and biliterate in targeted language may be required depending on assignment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES Conducts in-person or virtual individual therapy and/or group counseling on a regular basis; provides necessary counseling and other related services to students with disabilities according to their Individualized Education Programs.
