Job Description TITLE: Pre-K Special Ed Ed Tech III (Full Time) - Multiple Openings District Wide POSITION OVERVIEW: We are seeking several Pre-K Special Ed Education Technicians to provide dedicated classroom support to Pre-K programs at a variety of elementary schoolsPresumpscot, Rowe, Talbot, Longfellow, and possibly other programs in the district based on student need. Successful candidates will demonstrate experience and knowledge of early childhood curriculum, strategies, and classroom management. Candidates will support the classroom teacher in building student school readiness by helping to create a positive, developmentally appropriate learning environment. A working knowledge of the Maine Early Learning Development Standards and experience with Pre-K for ME curricula, Teaching Strategies Gold and Second Step curriculum, are preferred.
