Job Description 12-Month Administrative Benefit Coordinator Primary Purpose Under the direct supervision of the Director of Human Resources provides support to the department for background checks, benefit enrollment and maintenance for active and retired employees. Essential Functions Processes and maintains all employee background credentials Processes and maintains background checks for all district volunteers (caregivers, interns and contractors) Creates personnel files and prepares necessary documents for the payroll department. Maintains employment benefit changes and communicates to the payroll department. Manages benefits for active and retired employees and maintains deduction information for MTRS eligible retirees. Conducts frequent benefit audits to ensure the accuracy of enrollment, terminations and deductions for active employees and retirees.
