Job Description Kitchen Helper 8:30am - 1:30pm 5 Hours per day 5 Days per week SUMMARY: To assist in the preparation and serving of food to students/staff in a quick and professional manner. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: P erform daily food preparation as assigned, including but not limited to salad making, sandwich making, deli slicing, cookies, pretzels, etc. I mplement H.A.C.C.P. procedures as requested. A ssist with the daily cleaning of all kitchen equipment and ensure cleanliness and sanitation conditions are met. S ets up and breaks down serving lines (salad bar, hot food, a la carte, etc.). A bility to perform all responsibilities of a helper, including but not limited to, operate all equipment, POS/cash register, count money, make change, and reconciliation of bank deposit and daily paper work.
