Assignment Details
- Position: Cafeteria Staff
- Location: Georgia
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Start Date: ASAP
- Total Hours Per Week: 30-40 hours per week
- Duration of Contract: New School Year 2025-26
- Assist in the preparation, cooking, and serving of nutritious meals in compliance with school nutrition guidelines
- Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices are followed at all times
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, serving areas, and dining spaces before, during, and after meal service
- Set up and restock food stations and supplies as needed
- Assist students during meal service, ensuring safety and efficiency in the cafeteria
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance or safety issues promptly
- Collaborate with team members and school staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Comply with all health, safety, and district food service policies
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in food service, school cafeteria, or similar setting preferred
- Food Handler's Certificate (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and positive dining environment
- Dependable, punctual, and able to follow directions and schedules effectively
