Temp: Programs Clerk
This position is for 30 hours per week and pays $18.50 per hour. JOB SUMMARYProvides clerical assistance to the administrative and teaching staff in assigned program/initiative.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES- Assists with program/initiative process documentation including parent/staff notification, meeting minutes and follow-up to meetings.
- Tracks timeline for referrals, evaluations/re-evaluations, and annual reviews.
- Completes billing forms and other forms.
- Sorts, organizes, delivers, and processes all incoming and outgoing mail.
- Collects, prepares, maintain, organizes, and disseminates appropriate files, documents and information for all meeting, and programs/initiatives in an orderly manner.
- Makes copies of all documents for parents, teachers, and staff members included in student case.
- Enters, updates, and maintains data in database, generates and distributes reports, and uses software to prepare documents.
- Performs other related duties as assigned within the same classification or lower.

Education- High School Diploma or Equivalency Certificate required.
Experience- One (1) year office, clerical, secretarial and/or computer experience required.

- Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Demonstrated proficiency with business technology applications (e.g. Video/Web Conferencing, Microsoft Office Suite -Word, Excel, Outlook, and/or PowerPoint preferred). For new permanent secretarial/clerical/technician hires, a minimum score on a pre-employment assessment is required.
