Winnacunnet Cooperative High School is actively seeking a qualified candidate for a School Nurse to start August 25, 2026. School nursing, a specialized practice of nursing, protects and promotes student health, faciltates optimal development, and advances academic success. School nurses, grounded in ethical and evidence-based practice, are the leaders who bridge health care and education, provide care coordination, advocate for quality student-centered care, and collaborate to design systems that allow individuals and communities to develop their full potential.

The School Nurse functions in accordance with the New Hampshire Nurse Practice Act, Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses, and the school district's policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Registered Nurse (RN) current licensed in the State of New Hampshire or as a part of the Compact Nursing License Agreement
  • NH School Nurse Certification with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, or in line with the current requirements by the State of New Hampshire
  • 3 years current experience in pediatric nursing or other related nursing areas, including, but not limited to public heath, community health, family mental health, emergency and primary care nursing
