Butler Elementary School
PRINCIPAL
The Belmont Public School District announces an opportunity for a dynamic, experienced Elementary School Principal to lead the Butler Elementary School, a high performing school of approximately 254 students, grades K through 3, in a district dedicated to supporting innovation and excellence among staff and students.
At the heart of everything we do is the students-their well-being and their opportunities for academic learning and emotional development. The district's strategic goals over the past four years have focused on social emotional learning and addressing the gap between opportunities and achievement of our students of color.
We are seeking an inspiring leader to provide sound educational direction, both at the building and district level. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to be reflective and engage in courageous conversations that move the culture and climate of the school and district forward in a positive way. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated ability to cultivate and sustain excellence in teaching, imagine and implement innovative instructional strategies, communicate effectively and consistently with the community, and advocate for continuous improvement within the school and the district.
Requirements: Master's degree, MA Principal Certification or eligibility, elementary school teaching experience. Prior experience in an administrative role preferred.
Start date: July 01, 2026
