The Nauset Public Schools seek a dynamic administrator to lead the Eastham Elementary School located on the lower Cape in the town of Eastham, MA. The Principal will oversee the day-to-day operations of the school and its facility, and also develop and manage the annual budget. The Principal will work collaboratively with staff, families, and students to foster strong relationships, maintain a positive school climate, and ensure excellence in education to meet the needs of every student. The successful candidate for the position will be expected to:
• Provide instructional Leadership that ensures rigorous, research-based,
and standards-aligned teaching across all grade levels.
• Lead a coherent K-5 curriculum that is engaging, challenging, and prepares
students with 21st-century skills.
• Support innovative teaching through project-based learning and
complementary instructional strategies across the curriculum.
• Coach and evaluate staff to promote continuous professional growth and
improved classroom practice.
• Use student data from assessments to guide instruction and improve
student achievement.
• Ensure equitable student supports for English learners, students with
disabilities, and all learners' social-emotional needs.
• Manage school resources strategically including budget, staffing,
schedules, facilities, and instructional materials.
• Strengthen family and community partnerships through communication,
engagement, and shared responsibility for student success.
• Implement district initiatives and policies to advance school improvement
and Nauset's Strategic Plan.
QUALIFICATIONS
Massachusetts Principal/Assistant Principal certification with at least
five years of K-5 teaching and leadership experience.
Proven experience meeting diverse learners needs, Including Special
Education, ELL and Social-emotional supports.
Strong decision-making, analytical thinking, and organizational
ability to lead a complex school environment.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to
work effectively with staff, families, and partners.
SALARY AND CONTRACT
Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
Multi-year contract.
