seek a talented Cafeteria Food Service Worker to join our caring staff

at Mill Pond School (grades 4-6)

Monday-Friday, 8:45 am-12:45 pm

Summary: Performs general food service duties including sanitation, cashiering and basic prep work.

Reports to: Cafeteria Manager

Department: Westborough High School Cafeteria

Work Year: School year, 184 days

FLSA Status: non-exempt, benefits eligible

Salary Range: Food Services Salary Scale Hourly pay per food service contract & experience

CENTRAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB (MAY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO):

• Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting fruits and vegetables
  
• Weighs and measures designated ingredients.
  
• Cleans work areas, equipment and utensils.
  
• Serves customers in a friendly, efficient way following outline steps of service.
  
• Performs cleaning duties in the dishroom, kitchen and serving area
  
• Stores foods in designated areas in accordance with wrapping, dating and food safety rotation procedures.
  
• Operates POS for meal and snack sales
  
• Makes change, accepts declining balance cards and other acceptable forms of payment.
  
• Replenishes condiments, beverages and general supplies while maintaining service area.
  
• Performs other duties as assigned.
  
• CORI and Fingerprinting: All appointments are conditional based on a satisfactory CORI and SAFIS Background Check per 603 CMR 51.00.
