What You'll Do:
- Lead and support PreK-12 language and literacy programs across multiple districts, with a focus on multilingual learners and ELL services.
- Collaborate with educators and administrators to strengthen instruction in reading, writing, speaking, and listening across all content areas.
- Provide coaching, modeling, and professional development to improve instructional practices and student outcomes.
- Analyze student data to drive instructional decisions and support MTSS and evidence-based interventions.
- Coordinate ELL services, including Language Development Plans and administration of the Ohio English Language Proficiency Assessment (OELPA).
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district requirements, including student records, assessments, and reporting.
What You'll Bring:
- Valid Ohio teaching license with TESOL certification (required); Structured Literacy Certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the science of reading, structured literacy, and language development for multilingual learners.
- Proven ability to use data to implement effective, evidence-based instructional strategies.
- Experience providing professional development, coaching, and collaborative support to educators.
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Commitment to high standards, continuous improvement, and equitable outcomes for all students.
- Record free of criminal violations that would prohibit employment.
