New London Local Schools is seeking a qualified Driver's Education Instructor to support the launch of a district-based driver education program. The successful candidate will provide both classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction while ensuring compliance with all Ohio Traffic Safety Office requirements.

New London Local Schools is seeking a qualified Driver's Education Instructor to support the launch of a district-based driver education program. The successful candidate will provide both classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction while ensuring compliance with all Ohio Traffic Safety Office requirements.
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio Driver's License with acceptable driving record
- Must hold current Ohio Traffic Safety Office (OTSO) Driver Training Instructor certification or demonstrate the ability to obtain certification prior to July 1, 2026
- High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred
- Must pass all required background checks
- Valid Ohio teaching license
- Prior experience working with high school students
- Previous driver education instruction experience
- Provide classroom instruction in driver education curriculum
- Deliver behind-the-wheel training to students
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and completion
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, policies, and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and summer sessions
- Combination of classroom and in-vehicle instruction
