Position Description:
- POTENTIAL K-7 STEM Teacher
- For 2026-27 School Year
Location:
- Brookfield Local Schools, Grades K-7
- Valid Ohio Teaching License (K-12, K-8, PK-3/4-9)
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent attendance.
- Effective classroom management.
- Effective leadership skills.
- Self-motivated.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Planning career-related learning experiences.
- Providing clear explanations of the need to explore STEM activity options to students/parents.
- Work cooperatively with staff, students, parents, business and industry, college reps and the community.
- Comply with Board of Education policy and supervisory/administrative directives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- This position reports directly to the Elementary Principal and Middle School Principal.
- Based on the negotiated agreement between BFT and the Board of Education.
