Position Overview
Due to continued growth and expansion, SMART Academy is seeking an exceptional Classroom Teacher to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-performing, growing school that is expanding to serve additional grade levels. We are looking for a teacher who is committed to excellence, thrives in a structured environment, and is driven to ensure strong academic outcomes for all students.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality, standards-aligned instruction in all core subject areas
Implement curriculum with fidelity, including:
Amplify CKLA (ELA)
Reveal Math
Fundations (phonics, where applicable)
Utilize data to drive instruction and adjust teaching to meet student needs
Maintain a structured, well-managed classroom aligned with PBIS expectations
Administer and analyze assessments (STAR, IRLA, Acadience) to monitor progress
Participate in iMTSS processes, including interventions and team data meetings
Submit weekly lesson plans and maintain accurate gradebook records (ProgressBook)
Communicate regularly and effectively with families
Collaborate with grade-level teams and leadership to ensure student success
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Valid Ohio teaching license (in area of teaching)
Strong instructional planning and classroom management skills
Commitment to data-driven instruction and continuous improvement
Ability to build positive, professional relationships with students, staff, and families
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with the Science of Reading and structured literacy practices
Familiarity with Amplify CKLA, Fundations, or similar curricula
Experience working in a high-expectations or charter school environment
Knowledge of PBIS and iMTSS frameworks
