What You'll Do

Instructional Excellence
  • Design and deliver engaging lessons that challenge students through Higher Order Thinking strategies.
  • Prioritize rich vocabulary instruction across content areas.
  • Adapt lessons to meet the diverse academic and cultural needs of your students.
Student Growth
  • Use a variety of assessments to track progress and drive individualized instruction.
  • Participate in data team meetings and PLCs to refine practice and raise achievement.
Leadership Development
  • Model and nurture responsible, respectful, and safe behaviors.
  • Inspire students to become leaders in the classroom and across the school.
Collaboration & Communication
  • Partner with grade-level colleagues, instructional coaches, and administrators to meet shared goals.
  • Build strong relationships with families and celebrate student success together.
  • Engage in school culture through the Ridgewood House System and community events.
Who You Are
  • A licensed educator in North Carolina (or eligible for licensure).
  • A passionate teacher who believes every student can learn at high levels.
  • A reflective practitioner who thrives in a collaborative culture.
