About Chicago Jewish Day School
Chicago Jewish Day School is a multi-denominational, progressive Jewish day school serving approximately 235 students from Junior Kindergarten through Grade Eight. Grounded in Jewish values, CJDS offers an integrated, inquiry-based, and experiential curriculum that emphasizes excellence in both Judaic and General Studies.

Responsibilities include planning and teaching Grade 6 and Grade 7 Math, working closely with team members to support student success, and leading an advisory group with thoughtfully curated activities designed to support student growth throughout the school year.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree
Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Commitment to confidentiality and professional standards
Preferred
Minimum of three years of successful classroom teaching experience, preferably at the middle school level.
Experience implementing the Connected Math Program (CMP) or similar inquiry-based mathematics curricula is highly valued.
Candidates should hold appropriate certification in Secondary or Elementary Mathematics and demonstrate a strong foundation in mathematics content knowledge and instructional best practices.
