Job Title: JROTC Instructor

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated JROTC Instructor to join our team and make a
lasting impact on students' lives. This position plays a vital role in developing student
leadership, citizenship, discipline, and personal responsibility. The ideal candidate is a retired
military professional who is passionate about mentoring young people and fostering their
academic and personal growth.

Key Responsibilities
Instruction & Curriculum
Teach JROTC curriculum, including leadership development, health education, and
history
Facilitates engaging lessons aligned with program standards
Student Mentorship
Guide and mentor students in academic achievement, leadership skills, and career planning
Serve as a positive role model and advisor

Program Management
Maintain accurate student records, including required reporting systems (e.g., JUMS)

Manage and account for military property, uniforms, equipment, and training materials

Extracurricular Leadership
Organize and supervise activities such as drill teams, color guard, air rifle teams, and
community service projects
Coordinate events, competitions, and field experiences

Administrative Duties

Collaborate with school staff and administration
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and program requirements

Qualifications
Retired or transitioning military Officer or Noncommissioned Officer (NCO)
Minimum of a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor's degree preferred; required for
Senior Army Instructor roles)
Eligible for and willing to obtain certification through the appropriate JROTC program
branch
Ability to meet physical standards necessary to lead student training activities
