- Demonstrated knowledge of K-8 ELA grade level standards.
- Evidence of lesson planning and instructional design which includes problem solving/reasoning skills, inquiry-based learning, and real-world/community connections
- Demonstrated knowledge of intervention methods and materials needed within instruction to meet the needs of all students
- Evidence of positive communication/collaboration skills with students, parents, and school staff
- A commitment to grow professionally and work collaboratively across grade levels and content areas
- Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and bringing a global perspective into the classroom
- This is a one-year contract.
