Grades: Kindergarten through 8th Grade
Dates: August 3rd -August 26th
Location: Smith Middle School
Details:
The times for summer school for students will be 8:30 to 11:30. The times for staff will be 8:15 to 11:45. The focus will be primarily on ELA but we will also provide some math as well. The final schedule will be determined after we receive responses from families of students that will be invited to summer school. Like we did in the past, we will offer up to 10 hours of paid planning time the week before summer school begins (7/27/25 through 7/31/25). We will pay teachers for four hours each day. This will include 3.5 hours to be at summer school, 8:15 to 11:45, and 30 minutes of planning each day
Number of positions based on student enrollment
Wage: The hourly rate shall be .00083 of the amount indicated at the zero experience step of the appropriate degree category (as stated in the master agreement)
