SPANISH TEACHER

School Year 2026-2027

The Craig County School Board, Virginia, is now accepting applications for a Spanish teaching position available for the 2026-2027 school year.

Primary Responsibilities:

To develop and implement an instructional program that will effectively provide the best possible education for each student.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Hold or be eligible for a Virginia Teacher's License with the appropriate endorsement to teach Spanish at the high school level
  
• Have experience in lesson planning and curriculum development
  
• Have experience and expertise in using technology in education
  
• Have experience or working familiarity with Google Drive for instruction, collaboration, and coursework
  
• Have effective written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  
• Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with parents and families
  
• Demonstrate the ability to be dependable and punctual
  
• Demonstrate the ability to work and collaborate with a team of other teachers

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experienced or have a working familiarity with virtual education
  
• Eligibility and experience with dual enrollment

FLSA: Exempt

Salary: 2026-2027 Teachers' Salary Scale with benefits
