Oxford High School and Oxford Middle School are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physical Education/Health Teacher to join our team for the upcoming school year. We are looking for an educator who is committed to fostering student growth within a supportive and collaborative school environment. This position is split between the high school and middle school.

We are looking for an educator who is committed to fostering student growth within a supportive and collaborative school environment. This position is split between the high school and middle school.
Key Responsibilities: (list not all inclusive)
- Create an engaging, welcoming environment that encourages student learning and development.
- Deliver instruction and design activities that promote health and physical literacy and encourage lifelong wellness and activity for students.
- Collaborate with colleagues and staff to support student achievement and school initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and class expectations.
- Complete all required administrative duties, including grading and reporting on student performance.
- Think flexibly and adapt to the specific needs of students
- Work in an inclusionary/co-teaching model
Qualifications:
- Connecticut Health and Physical Education certification (043 & 044) required
- Strong, effective communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a professional team environment. Proactive team player.
- Dedication to providing a positive and meaningful learning experience for students.
