Bethel Hill Charter School is seeking a dedicated Classroom Teacher to provide high-quality instruction in a positive and supportive learning environment.

The Classroom Teacher is responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering instruction that supports students' academic, social, and emotional growth. Teachers are expected to align instruction with the North Carolina Standard Course of Study while utilizing effective instructional practices, assessment strategies, and classroom management techniques to meet the needs of all learners.

Responsibilities may include:
-Planning and delivering engaging daily instruction
-Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate records
-Creating a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
-Communicating effectively with students, families, and staff
-Collaborating with colleagues and participating in school initiatives
-Supervising and directing instructional assistants or volunteers, when applicable

Position Details:
-Full-time, 10-month position
-Reports directly to the Principal
-Salary based on a school-adopted pay scale modeled after the North Carolina Public School Salary Schedule, plus a 10% supplement
-Full benefits package available with full-time employment

Job Requirements

-Bachelor's degree required
-Must hold or be eligible for a North Carolina Professional Educator's License in the appropriate content area
-Prior teaching experience preferred

While teacher licensure is not required for charter school employment under North Carolina law, preference may be given to candidates who currently hold or are eligible to hold a North Carolina teaching license.
