Position: Kindergarten Screening Assessor
Dates: August 4-5, 2026
Hours: 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (maximum each day.)

Barrington: August 4-5, 2026

Greensview: August 4, 2026

Tremont: August 4-5, 2026

Wickliffe: August 4, 2026

Windermere: August 4-5, 2026

Rate of Pay: timesheet required, paid at Summer Academy rate of $43.47 per hour in accordance with the current Memorandum of Agreement.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the administration of kindergarten screening assessments for incoming kindergarten students.
  • Conduct and document student observations during screening activities.
  • Support the collection and organization of assessment data to inform class placement.
  • Collaborate with screening team members to ensure a positive, welcoming, and efficient screening experience for students and families.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all student information and assessment results.
  • Complete other screening-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Valid teaching license preferred.
  • Experience working with young children.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

  • Occasional exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and tissue
  • Occasional interaction among unruly children
  • Occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull various items up to a maximum of 25 pounds, e.g., paper boxes, deliveries of supplies and equipment
  • Frequently move and position oneself as necessary to access and operate equipment
  • Frequently move around the workspace and travel throughout the school building and/or the school district
