Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate
- (a) a ZA or ZS endorsement, (b) a ZN or ZO endorsement, or (c) a bachelor's degree in child development with specialization in preschool teaching
- Experience working with preschool students ages 3-5
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of child development
- Submission of a negative Tuberculosis test
- Completion of fingerprinting in accordance with Michigan State Licensing requirements for background checks as well as MDE for school employment.

- Passion for early childhood education and commitment to fostering a love of learning
- Create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment
- Collaborate with families, paraprofessionals, and related service providers to support student progress
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood
- Participate in IEP meetings
- Ability to use and integrate technology seamlessly
- Familiarity with Michigan's Early Childhood Standards of Quality
- Ability to take a team approach to planning
- Familiarity with Michigan's state licensing rules for child care centers (LARA)
- First Aid, CPR, and AED training (or willingness to be trained)
