Biological Science Certification Required
EFFECTIVE: 2026-2027 School Year
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate (CE, CEAS, Provisional, or Standard) with Biological Science Endorsement (2210);
- Demonstrated knowledge of NJ Student Learning Standards in subject specialty and effective teaching methods;
- Knowledge of Next Generation Science Standards;
- Ability to conduct/facilitate inquiry-based laboratory investigations;
- Ability to maintain a positive learning environment;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
