Reports to: Building Principal, Director of Pupil and Staff Services, and/or Superintendent

The successful candidate must have the following on file before starting:
Appropriate and valid Ohio teaching credentialCurrent favorable State and Federal background checksOfficial Sealed TranscriptsNegative drug screen
Employees must follow all board policies, all state and federal laws, and the Ohio Code of Ethics as established by the Ohio Department of Education. Subject to all applicable laws, essential job functions of this position include the employee being punctual and capable of completing all of the duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
The successful candidate must complete all mandatory compliance courses assigned by the administration annually.

- Valid Ohio Teaching License: (7-12) Science; (K-12) Designated Subject: Science
- Experience in the teaching area preferred
- Duties/Responsibilities in accordance with Ohio Department of Education Standards
- Performance will be evaluated using OTES 2.0 Framework
Responsibilities and Expectations:
- Perform all duties/responsibilities in accordance with Austintown Local School District Policy and Procedures
- Follow and execute the Ohio Standards for the Teaching Profession
- Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Building Principal, Director of Pupil and Staff Services, and/or Superintendent
