Consistent with the Agreement between the North Canton City Schools Board of Education and the North Canton Education Association, the following position is being posted for the period from July 7 - 14, 2026, or until filled.
Reading Specialist
- Contract Type: Individual Small Group Instructor (ISGI)
- Part-time (5 hours per day)
- Building: North Canton Intermediate School
- Effective Dates: 2026-2027 School Year
- The main task will be to provide small group reading instruction and intervention in a small group setting
- Should be knowledgeable of and have experience in diagnosing reading deficits and administering progress monitoring assessments
- Required Licensure: Candidates must have at least one of the following certifications:
- PreK-12 or K-12 Reading Endorsement
- Elementary (K-8) or (1-8)
- Primary (PreK-5)
- PreK-12 or K-12 Reading Endorsement
