Anticipated opening for a
One Year Only Math Specialist / Teacher
at the
Middle School
Oyster River Cooperative School District is seeking a One Year Only Math Specialist to work with staff and students at the Middle School.
This person will be responsible for implementing an instructional program that meets the needs of all students, integrates research-based strategies, and is aligned with the district's math curriculum and the New Hampshire Frameworks. The purpose of the Math Specialist/Teacher is to provide targeted instruction to Tier II and III students, lead the MTSS Team for mathematics, implement targeted instruction for acceleration, and support teachers in math interventions and instructional strategies to raise student achievement. This position works and collaborates with the K-8 Curriculum Coordinator and Instructional Coach.
NH teacher's certification in Mathematics, Middle Level to Algebra I/ Integrated I. Master's degree or higher in a related educational area preferred. Relevant classroom experience and knowledge in MTSS also preferred.
