Trailside Daycare Inc. is seeking a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Toddler Teacher to join our team. This role supports young children's growth through developmentally appropriate practice, nurturing relationships, and a joyful, engaging classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom where children feel supported and confident.
Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Observe, document, and communicate children's progress with families and the administrative team.
Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging learning environment aligned with Trailside's values and Rhode Island licensing standards.
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent routines, positive guidance, and high-quality care.
Build strong partnerships with families through warm, professional daily communication.

Job Requirements
High school diploma or GED
At least 2 years of experience working in a childcare or early learning setting
Knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practice
Strong communication skills, reliability, and a team-centered mindset
Ability to meet all Rhode Island DHS licensing requirements for childcare staff
Must be able to work full-time 40 hours
