As a contracted employee, this position is assigned to work 183 days per year and 7.25 hours per day.

Starting salary is in accordance with the negotiated agreement, increases with experience and education.

The Springfield Education Association and the Board of Education are currently working on a new professional agreement. While that is in the works, please refer to the current agreement as to pay and benefits that are in place for the 2023-26 school year.

In the 2025-26 school year Springfield was able to offer a $1,600.00 longevity bonus to all employees in addition to an annual attendance bonus of potentially $1,100.00.
