Description:
Celina City Schools is seeking a qualified and compassionate substitute 1:1 nurse to provide individualized medical support for a student during the school day. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the student's health, safety, and access to education.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one nursing care to a designated student throughout the school day
- Monitor and respond to the student's medical needs in accordance with physician orders and care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as required
- Maintain accurate documentation of care and services provided
- Collaborate with school staff to support the student's educational experience
- Respond to medical emergencies as needed
- Valid Ohio nursing license (RN or LPN)
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Experience working with children or in a school setting preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- This is a substitute, as-needed position with potential for regular assignments based on student needs
- School-day hours; no evenings or weekends required
