Job Summary and Purpose
  • Under the direction of the Chief of Staff, the Office Manager supports the Chief of Staff and Constituent Services.

Work Objectives/Essential Functions
  • Collaborates with the Office of Division Counsel as needed for cases involving criminal charges.
  • Supports the Chief of Schools with coordinator of Legislative Committee and other School Board Advisory Committees
  • Supports the management of Alvin York Bandy Complex.
  • Monitors the budget accounts for travel and other administrative expenses.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for constituent services.
  • Supports the Director of Student Conduct, as needed.

Education and Experience

Education Attainment (Required):

High School Diploma or equivalent

Education Attainment (Preferred):

Relevant Experience (Required):

Five (5) years of experience in a professional office environment, experience in K-12 education is required.

Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of standard office practices, procedures, equipment, and clerical skills.
  • Knowledge and consistent implementation of English grammar, usage, spelling, and computation.

Skills:
  • Proficient in office document and spreadsheet software's (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Suite)
  • Proficient or able to become proficient in form and document creation software's (e.g., Acrobat Canva)

Abilities:
  • Meet deadlines for all work even when working on multiple projects.
  • Show sustained effort and enthusiasm in quality and quantity of work.
  • Ability to demonstrate effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt to change and maintain flexibility.
