Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

Greeneview Schools is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor for the 2026-2027 school year. This is a replacement position.

This position will serve all Maintenance needs in the Greeneview District, including:

• Ensure the safety, care, condition, appearance, repair, or replacement of all physical equipment, buildings, facilities and grounds
• Conduct routine and periodic inspections of school and facilities as part of a preventative maintenance program
• Perform general maintenance work and repairs inside and outside of the facilities such as ceiling, roof, electrical, welding, plumbing, concrete, masonry, insulation, and tiles
• Perform general labor inside and outside of facilities including grounds keeping, handling materials and supplies, moving equipment, operating power-driver equipment, truck driving, snow plowing, mowing, etc.
• Perform normal operator adjustments and service to facility equipment such as, but not limited to, compressors, unit ventilator fans, and assist in maintaining records on operational and maintenance activities
• Inspect roofs for leaks and repair; inspect and repairs doors and windows for functionally safe operation
• Repair and maintain electrical components, e.g., install new circuits, run new wire
• Repair and maintain plumbing components, e.g., clean sewer lines, replace fixtures
• Supervise, direct, train and evaluate maintenance and grounds personnel
• Assist with custodial or maintenance duties
• Perform yearly inventory of work area, supplies, and equipment
• Order and account for material and labor relative to assignments
• Deliver needed supplies and equipment to district buildings
• Maintain safe, organized, and clean maintenance storage and work areas
• Recommend supplies, equipment for purchase to the Superintendent
• Complete required inspections and paperwork as necessary

Preference will be given to previous experience as a supervisor and/or experience in the field.

Contracted Work Days: 260 days
