The Montgomery County School Board, Virginia, is now accepting applications for temporary summer warehouse worker positions that are available in the division. These positions may begin on or about May 26, 2026, through about August 7, 2026 (dates may vary depending on division needs and availability of candidates). Position shall not exceed 40 hours per week and hours may vary depending on the needs of the division.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The temporary summer warehouse worker will assist with the moving of supplies and furniture in support of the instructional programs of the school division and may work throughout the division at different sites. This position involves climbing, use of extension ladders, and lifting and moving of boxes of supplies, materials, and furniture.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Valid Virginia driver's license
  • Ability to read and follow basic operating instructions
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others
  • Ability to respond well to emergencies
  • Ability to work in indoor and outdoor conditions
  • Physical ability to lift 75 pounds or push 100 pounds as required
  • Dependability and punctuality required

Salary: $16.00 - $26.86 per hour, depending on experience

FLSA: Non-Exempt
