Position: Summer Technology Support - TemporaryPosition Summary: We are seeking motivated and tech-savvy students to join our Information Technology department as Summer Technology Support. This position offers a unique opportunity for
students to gain practical experience in IT support and educational technology during the summer break. Student workers will work closely with IT staff to assist with various tasks and projects to support the school's technology infrastructure.
- Gain hands-on experience in a professional IT environment within an educational setting.
- Learn from experienced IT professionals who will provide mentorship and guidance.
- Develop valuable technical skills and problem-solving abilities.
Details:Schedule: M - F 8 am - 1 pm
Hours: 25 hrs./wk.
Pay: $ 16.94/hr.
Start date: 6/22/2026
End date: 8/21/2026
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with inventory management and tracking of IT equipment and supplies.
- Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computers, printers, and other technology equipment.
- Install, update, and maintain software applications on school computers and devices.
- Participate in IT projects and initiatives, such as software upgrades, network enhancements, technology deployments and other duties
Qualifications:- Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Prior experience with IT support or technology-related activities is a plus but not required.
