Job Title:Special Education Educational Assistant
Location:Tarhe Trails Elementary
Qualifications for above position:
- A high school diploma
- A valid license to practice as an educational aide.
- Passage of the Paraprofessional Test, Two year degree or CDA Certification (as applicable)
- Child Abuse certification
- Child First Aid and CPR Certification
- Communicable Disease Certification
- Clear BCI/FBI report
- Classroom experience with handicapped students
- Must be able to deal appropriately with students who exhibit emotional or behavioral problems, aggressive behavior, or physical problems
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent and/or Board of Education may find appropriate.
