The State College Area School District is seeking a highly organized and proactive Secretary to support the Assistant Director of Curriculum and Academic Interventions. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of K-12 academic interventions and Federal Programs, including support for grant management, scheduling, and communication across district offices. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting educational equity and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling, managing calendars, document preparation, and meeting coordination.
  • Assist with Federal Programs compliance, grant documentation, and communication with nonpublic schools.
  • Support the organization of grant applications, reports, and compliance documents to ensure timely state/federal submissions.
  • Coordinate logistics, including travel arrangements, registrations, and reimbursements, for conferences and summer intervention program events as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records, monitor and manage timelines, and assist with instructional material inventory and purchasing.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration with staff, administrators, and external partners.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary coursework preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and technology skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain confidentiality.
  • Experience in education or grant-related settings preferred.

The minimum pay rate for this position is $20.80 per hour.
