Network/Infrastructure Technician

Reports to: Director of Technology
Start date: May/June 2026
Work schedule: 240 days, 8 hours/day
Pay range: $40,000- $44,000

Qualifications:
  • Minimum high school diploma and 5 years experience working with Intel based PC's OR
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with three years of direct technology work experience
  • Valid SC driver's license with a good driving record
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a networked environment
  • Thorough working knowledge of all operating systems and network applications
  • Working knowledge of Mocrosoft Office Professional including the ability to provide support and templates
Job Functions:
  • Perform basic maintenance including, but not limited to, installing or replacing system components as needed.
  • Provide support for configuring software, creating automated procedures, setting up menus, organizing hard drives, maintaining communication links, and installing upgrades.
  • Monitor safety and security infrastructure.
  • Create and coordinate the maintenance of school and district databases.
  • Maintain detailed records of problems and solutions with hardware and/or software; provide accountability for services rendered.
  • Work on projects at all district locations as assigned.
