Intervention specialist responsibilities include the following:
  • Plan room arrangement and learning centers
  • Plan and organize the structure of each class/activity being taught
  • Assess individual students' and class needs as a whole
  • Write designated sections of the ETR and IEP for assigned students
  • Implement services consistent with the individualized education plan and/or annual goals identified for a student(s), including behavior plans
  • Document and collect data, as needed, for all goals, objectives, and behavioral plans.
  • Evaluate and report student progress.
  • Develop and implement a communication system with families, which effectively keeps parents aware of classroom activities and student progress.
  • Meet with parents, as needed, and initiate conferences with parents concerning student progress.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,270.00 per year
