Job Title: School Psychologist (Grades 9-12)
Location: Collegiate Charter School of Lowell (Hybrid - testing/meetings in-person, report writing remote)
Position Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Director of Special Education

Position Overview:The Collegiate Charter School of Lowell is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented School Psychologist to support students in grades 9-12. This role is primarily focused on psychoeducational evaluations and compliance-related responsibilities. The School Psychologist will not be responsible for counseling or direct student intervention services, allowing for a strong focus on high-quality assessment, report writing, and collaboration with IEP teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive record reviews for students referred for evaluation or reevaluation
  • Administer and interpret psychoeducational assessments for high school students
  • Write clear, compliant, and comprehensive evaluation reports in accordance with state and federal regulations
  • Participate in and contribute to IEP Team meetings, presenting evaluation results and recommendations
  • Collaborate with special education staff, administrators, and related service providers
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements

Work Environment & Flexibility:
  • This position offers a hybrid work model
  • Option to work remotely 1-2 days per week (schedule to be coordinated with supervisor and team needs)
  • In-person presence required for evaluations and scheduled team meetings

Qualifications:
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • Valid Massachusetts School Psychologist license/certification
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations, preferably at the secondary level
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations (e.g., IDEA)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with high school populations (Grades 9-12)
  • Familiarity with a variety of assessment tools and evaluation frameworks
  • Experience in a public school setting
