Description: Teacher - Gifted Intervention Specialist, 1 FTE
Job Summary: The Gifted Intervention Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing specialized instructional strategies and programs tailored to the needs of gifted and talented students
across grades K-12. This role emphasizes fostering academic excellence, creativity, and social-emotional growth while ensuring compliance with state and district guidelines for gifted education.
The specialist will also work closely with classroom teachers to differentiate curriculum and provide resources that enhance learning for gifted students. Additionally, the Gifted Intervention Specialist
will support the identification and assessment of gifted students and work collaboratively to promote equitable access to gifted services.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Education or a related field.
Master's Degree preferred.
Valid Ohio Teaching License, English Language Arts, Math.
K-12 Gifted Intervention Specialist Endorsement. Alternative Licensure Pathways accepted.
Experience in gifted education or differentiated instruction.
Valid Driver's License.
Working Conditions: 7.75 hours per day, 184 days per school year calendar.
